1st Meeting of Electric Vehicles
June 12 - 11 hours - Lisbon - Garden of the Principe Real
The forum novaenergia.net in collaboration with the Parish of Mercy, and the Lisbon City Council, will hold the First Meeting of Electric Vehicles (EV) to be held in the Garden of the Principe Real in Lisbon on Saturday June 12 for 11 hours. The aim is to sensitize the community to the importance of renewable energy and sustainable mobility.
Participants will include members and forum members who can answer all questions relating to the mission and its EV charging. If you have questions about EVs, this is to sponsor to get them out.

The Rinspeed UC was presented at the Geneva Motor Show (4 to March 14, 2010).

This Test-car Nissan EV-02 points to a range of about 160 miles, this vehicle is expected to be launched in spring 2011.
Remarks by the Vice-President of Nissan, Carlos Tavares:

Portugal is one of the countries interested in setting up a production of batteries for electric cars from Nissan. This decision will be known even in the summer of 2009.
The Electric Car already circulating in Lisbon, are about 50 vehicles will be able to enjoy six months free charging stations in the EDP.
There are now six electric charging stations, each with 2 outlets to supply two vehicles simultaneously.
